Our company, SHERPA, works with non-profit organizations and educational institutions in a number of areas related to organizational management.  In the case of schools, there are often components of strategic planning related to curriculum review, faculty engagement and academic program development.  For projects requiring expertise in these areas we have consistently turned to Ms. Padmanabha, Executive Director of Mission to Mentor.  Her experience as both an educator and administrator provides a balanced approach to her overall process and recommendations that takes into account the interests and needs of both constituent groups.

SHERPA has engaged Ms. Padmanabha on such projects as a feasibility study to expand a Montessori school into the middle school grades; a strategic plan for a middle school with strong needs in the area of curriculum overhaul; and a comprehensive evaluation to assess the impact of a middle school’s expansion from a traditional academic year to a year-round schedule.  Her strong academic and classroom experience coupled with her strategic, organized approach to projects have been pivotal to the success of these projects and the glowing reviews of our clients.

Ms. Padmanabha’s style is pre-eminently professional while also accessible.  She inspires confidence and conveys her appreciation of the nuances of situations.  When there are differing constituent groups with differing (sometimes competing) interests at stake, being able to bring everyone on-board and facing the same direction is crucial.

In a field where 90% of our engagements comes from word-of-mouth, it is critical that clients have a thoroughly positive experience of our services and personnel.  We know that when we require expertise in these areas we can call upon Ms. Padmanabha with utter and complete confidence.
